I will measure the area in need, purchase all supplies such as top soil, mulch, and fertilizer (for the roots), and the sod with extra for corrections if necessary. What is done is the yard will require tilling, cleaned up of all weeds, grass remnants, sprayed with a vegetation killer due to tilling tends to bring up any and all dormant seeds which will be unsightly if not handled properly. Once sprayed top soil and mulch is applied and tilled once more into the ground to create a nutrient rich environment for the roots to feed and grow. The ground will be rolled to eliminate and low spots and to create a grade so water does not collect and creates an area of rot. Once all prior steps are done fertilizer will be applied to the surface before the sod is applied to give the roots that extra feeding to help it grow.
